I won't be there in the Omega

I need 2 new tyres on the front, brakes all round, and bearings too...  And can't afford to do it...

So if I go, I'll be coming up on my bike, but only holding a CBT, I'll have to take the 'scenic' route...  112 miles of ass-numbing riding... each bloody way!!

240m round trip, I suspect you'd rather pay the petrol

That sort of mileage is nothing on a bigger bike, but a fair old trek on a little 125

Be worth it though for the scenery Plus gets me more experience towards doing the DAS & test!

Pete, I may need a hand tho if you can and take 1 thing up for me... my inflateable mattress thing, as well... it's a bit too big to carry on the bike!!  Rest should be ok tho (tent, sleeping bag, possibly a pillow or something...)

If youv'e got a Tail wind the mattress might come in handy as a sail

I'd stick it on the bike seat and sit on it if I where you
