I've just spoken to the guy there and he doesn't see any need to move us... All he asks is that the noise is kept to a considerate level after 10:30ish, so no music etc. He said they accept that with a large group it will be noisier than normal but have no issues with it at all. Obviously the normal rules of decency apply and, as we're all adults (allegedly!) I'm sure it'll be fine.

And obviously... No Racing/doughnuts etc

He is going to make sure he can get us all in the same area, although some may be separated by some bushes, and didn't bat an eyelid when I said we're probably looking for 15 pitches instead of the 5 we needed to get the area to ourselves.

Prices will be confirmed nearer the time, but I can say they will be no more than those on the leaflet on this thread.

Just as a warning, something that surprised us last time, the showers are 50p per token. Although this sounds horrific, you get 20 minutes hot water for that so we found it best to get a couple of people together and share a shower token :y :y :y

Looks like we'll be going Fri to Sun.  Do I have to bring the cake?

I'm sure SWMBO will be supplying Chocolate Brownies which are to die for!!!

We'll have to have a quick discussion about catering nearer the time as last year we all took enough for ourselves and another 2 or 3 people and ended up with so much food that half of it went in the bin :o :o :o

Not too late at all Guy, I'm going to collect the names and details of everyone on the confirmed list at the start of June to give to the site owners. They are leaving an area at least 15 pitches in size for us, which we can squeeze more onto if required, and are willing to fit people into other available pitches if the need occurs as long as we do the socialising in the one area :y :y :y

We may be running a little shy on Hook-ups though so we might have to share. I've got a long lead I'll bring along and a 13A socket on the outside of the Van if needs be :y :y :y

In that case I'll make sure Mrs LD does Brownies!

Hmmm.... The legendary curry!

Unfortunately SWMBO will have to pass on the curry as she's allergic to it, but I'll test her share too ::) ::) :y :y

You're more than welcome... We were all newbies once :y :y :y

Last year we were all newbies and made it a good one so come along. :y :y :y

Did you look through this thread, about a couple of pages back is all the info you need. If you are definitely coming and camping then let me know and I'll add you to the confirmed list :y :y

Yep... It's really starting to take off! It's good to see so much support coming through and I think it's going to be a real cracker!

I really must urge anyone who is thinking about coming to make up their mind ASAP and get their names on the confirmed list as I am now contacting the site every few days to increase the number of pitches we need :o :o :o There'll come a time, unfortunately, when they say they can't get any more of us in though  :'( :'( :'(

So get your names down if you are wanting to come as it is a "First come, First served" Situation!

Anyone already on the confirmed list will have a space :y :y :y
