Just a thought as I need to change my lpg filter soon.... all engine problems being sorted of course..... but how do you 'shut off' the Gas?

So as when you undo a pipe, the stuff doesn't come rushing out the tank? There's doesn't seem to be any kind of shut-off valve

With petrol, I'm aware of the de-pressurising valve, and pulling out fuse 18 to turn the pump off. So is there a similar thing for LPG? :-/

This isn't just a question for JamesV6cdx (who fitted my kit

), as I'm wondering about all the different sorts and whether there's a common solution

If the engine isn't running, the soleniod (on the tank, and at the vaporisor) won't be open, therefore no gass will come through.

Just unto and change the filter - simples

Is there not a manual valve on the tank connection?
