Quote
Belmont GLSi 1.8 - rubbish car. 3 months.
MkII Astra GTE 2.0 - appalling handling, but fun. 1year
.
Nova 1.2L - good enough car (rusty though), but not for me. 3 months.
Omega MV6 - kinda like it ::). 5.5yrs and counting
Omega 2.5CD - was OK, but pre-minifacelift (makes you appreciate minifacelift). 2 months.
Omega 2.5TD Elite - loved it. Brilliant car. 2 years.

Come on TB, how can one be rubbish and one fun, when thay are both the same car, with the same suspension, the only difference was 13inch alloys on the Belmont and 14 inch alloys on the Astra ??

as a bit of cheating seems to be allowed...

1980 Astra 1.3
1987? Cavalier 1.8 GLSi
1986 Cavalier Commander (I think)
1989 Cavalier 2.0 GL (first new car :))
1990 Cavalier 2.0 GL
1990 Carlton 2.0 GL
1992 Cavalier SRi (went like a train)
1994 Saab 900 V6 loaner
1995 Saab 9000 2.0 (lot of car,not much engine..)
1997 Saab 9000 2.3T anniversary (lot of car, lot of engine :) :))
2000 Saab 9-5 Turbo (last new car :()
1994 Omega 2.0GL
1998 Omega 2.5 CDX
1998 Omega 3.0 Elite (still have it)
2002 Omega 3.2 Elite (still have it)

in between there has been an Austin 1300 or two, an Audi 80 and a Porker 944, and mrs ians had a Volvo and a Toyota Celica, but I think overall there is a GM loyalty in here..

Started off with 2 Ford Escorts, then moved onto VX:

P Vectra 1.8 GLS
W Vectra 2.0 DTi Design Ed (Non runner)
N Vectra 1.8 LS (Again - Non runner)
S Vectra 2.5 v6 GSi
R Omega 3.0 Elite (Current Runabout)
R Omega 2.5TD Elite (Current Runabout when the 3.0 dies)
R Omega 2.5 CDX Estate (Maybe breaking it for spares)

Not too bad in less than 4 years  ;D If I wasn't living at home or had drive space, I would have had double that amount!
