A lamp post quite a few years ago in my Hillman Hunter   and a tree in my Elite a month ago. Reversed into the bloody thing and smashed tailgate glass and creased tailgate.

Sounds like a good reason to have reverse parking sensors

Biggest thing I've hit?  Apart from chewing a wee bit tarmac when the bike and I parted company, how about a hundered thousand tonne ship/tanker?

Was getting steering ticket time many moons ago whilst playing ships in the '70's and the next door neighbour and us had a wee contratemps, as it were. 

Nowt a decent welder couldn't fix in drydock, apparently....

I was behind one of them the other day!!!    It looked to be in reasonable nick    , a coupe too! 

I hope it's syncro on 1st & 2nd gear are ok, mine was FUBAR

my funniest one was chasing a grey squirel down an empty lane in my old eunos. i was all over the road trying to line up my wheel with the squirel. then just as i got near to it it darted to the right, so a quick flick of the steering wheel and 2 very satisfying thuds followed.i was giggling to myself all the way to work.
