Nice one Pete.

I met my daughter at the MOT station when she was having her car done. When she pulled up I noticed a brake light out so took the bulb out of mine and put it in her's, thought I would do a quick check of all the light while I was there and she had a headlight out as well. ::)

Well done.  :y

Does anyone think the MOT testing stations at Main Dealers are any tougher than independent ones?

If they spend half their time fixing things on 6 month old cars under warranty I think it is inevitable that their first response on seeing something that is not factory fresh is propose fitting a new genuine component. (so getting a car through the MOT will probably cost more at a main dealer)

I think the VOSA inspections of MOT testers are quite strict so there shouldn't be any variation. The differences are probably more down to personalities and how the last VOSA inspection went...

Well done mate :y

The garage were I get my MOT's done would change the bulbs there and then rather than fail the car.
They are very good and its the first garage I have a bit of trust in. I still do all my repairs myself though.
and I still need a garage as my unberella is a bit old now [smiley=evil.gif] [smiley=evil.gif] [smiley=evil.gif]
