Best fit a lightened flywheel before you try blipping the throttle. ;D

The Project is...................

To fit a 3.0 Omega Engine into my Escort Cabriolet :y

I have bought a Vectra V6 for the gearbox etc to use on the project.

There are a few things I am uncertain about though really, will i go into the first hedge that jumps out infront of me? ;D
Will I be able to stop the thing from wheels spinning?
I would imagine it will sound lovely and be pretty impressive at picking its feet up.

So any ideas will be greatfully recieved... well some will ;D

If your going to wear your water wings why not go a stage further and weld up the doors, ( it`s a convertable anyway so wouldn`t be needed ) and either take a feed off the gearbox and fit a propeller on the rear, or an outboard on the boot lid and make a multi purpose car/speedboat. Simples  :y  :D ;D These suggestions don`t help i know Daz but had a few tinnies and silly thoughts going through my mind. ha ha. ;D

1) Scrap the Vectra donor

2) Tunnel the floor pan

3) Mount the engine PROPERLY

I have toyed with this idea Martin to be honest.

I prefer the idea of it being rear wheel drive as I do think the axles should do there own thing not one doing both..
