Yeah, got one on mine, think I'll take it off though - got no use for it at all. They don't look good  :P

Agreed JC, I would rather shop in Asda @ noon on xmas eve than have a bloody tow bar. Yukkkkk ;D ;D ;D

Depends why you have an Omega ...  I bought mine SPECIFICALLY to tow ... The car was dropped off to have the bar fitted on the way home...    :)

Each to their own ...  :)

 ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

+1 thats why I bought mine as well, first job was hitch and wiring, first tow of 1500kg van next week :y

What've you done with the socket(s)? I'd take it off completely, you're adding a potential electrical problem if it's dangling in the breeze. They're not difficult to wire up if needed.  :y

the van I am towing is 1520 max weight,I presume the stock auto box cooling is up to task or should I consider an extra cooler

My caravan isn't quite as heavy as yours, but I towed in 30odd Celcius in France last year with no problems at all

I had mine serviced last year by a man who knows his auto boxes... The dealers all take their cars to him :o

He said that the Omega setup is fine as standard unless you're planning to tow across a dessert :y :y
