Which diesel is it...120 or 150?.

To be honest, the 120 would suit you better I suspect

Ahhh....150.

Only issue is the EGR valve which can be cleaned and it might be early enough to sufer from the swirl flap issue (easy to check)

When you see it, start it up at least 5 times and listen for a clonk from the flywheel

Seen the Black 2.5 TD Omega you have for sale.  Can you please let me know how to contact you?  I have recently joined the Omega Forum and am unsure of how to contact sellers.

Thanks

Don't buy from a dealer, you're going to be paying way, way over the odds.

Well i guess 2.5TD facelifts are rare, what you have to consider is that a 3.0 facelift will go for around £1k, LPG + £700 for install, so will cost less than half the price of that TD.

You will also have a much better choice of 3.0's

This is where Mikes problem is, he has to suss the car out 1st, if the dealer knows he has travelled he has Mike by the short and curly's.

If Mike were to turn up with £2750 and 250 in reserve, then he might drive it home for 3k if he avoids telling the deaker where he has travelled from.

On the other hand he could negotiate a deal on the phone and if suitable then travel to pick up.

No one pays the window price, without adding loads of goodies and getting a tank of juice unless the dealer is crawling through punters with wads of cash to buy it.

The auto 1.9 cdti is a good idea as it takes you out of the dreaded dual mass flywheel issue.

If you could get the price down to under 5k then you will be in good shape getting towards 50 mpg on a run - I get that from my manual but not sure of automatic stats

that vectra will lose value until one day its 500 quids worth with a mot and running.
So your gonna lose bread on it,i'd honestly say buy the best cheapest omega, theres 02's diesel on ebay for just over a grand,ok they have done double the w regger 81k miles but if its a good car and they are with 160k miles you can save money. Well thats the way i see it and i regularly see Omeeegas with over 200 grand miles and some well over 300k too and they still rock and roll and look ok for it. :D
