OOOOOOOO.....have to say..left a Cavalier in the Post House in Brauston for literally 5 mins.....disappeared within said 5 mins.

Found in the city with steering column busted up...

Perhaps the insurance company had heard of me ??

Bit blinkin cheeky though...

I don't I properly remember the last time I went to Leicester.  I remember checking into the hotel in the centre (Ramada Jarvis), and some kind of (presumably part time gentlemen's) club with poles on part of the dancefloor (sadly, no dancers) just around the corner from it.  I remember feeling quite unwell at breakfast the next morning...

Hmm Braunstone by any chance ;D all joking aside i dont see why they would not insure you  . its not like your going to dump your car in braustone lake. and a car is likely to get stolen anywhere.

As far as I am aware all insurance companies work out their element of risk when providing insurance to their customers on the basis of post code.  Certain post codes have a high level of crime against other areas of low risk.  Therefore the insurance company will either provide a policy with a premium (high) that recognises the increased risk, or will not offer any insurance at all.

It is quiet understandable as it is their money and their risk, so just as they may refuse to insure a single motorist due to their claims record, the underwriters can opt to not offer insurance for whole areas.  ;) ;)

If it was Braunstone i don,t think anyone would insure me. I would be on my bike ;D ;D
