worrying that the seller does not state manufacturer or tyre size - i would be very wary of these wheels and tyres as the rims are damaged and the tyres have been kerbed, kerbing is not usual, especially after 1,000 miles - always best to buy new tyres fitted by an authorised dealer with a guarantee, your life may depend on it...
also i saw a recent report about imported tyres from china being unsafe as the stopping distances were well outside the safety limit, always go to an authorised dealer.
VAUXHALL OMEGA MV6/ELITE WHEELS & TYRES
DUNLOP SP SPORT 3000 235/45/R17
I didn't spot it either and sent a message asking

yes it always pays to study the small print
but i would still only buy new from authorised tyre dealer whatever the cost, i wouldn't have used tyres as a gift ...i think i'm worth it 8-)
I dont understand. Why not? If the general condition of the tyre is good, no bulges, no uneven wear, no splits or cracks, then whats the difference?
A 'reputable' tyre fitting place may offer a guarantee, but that's not a lot of use when you suffer a blow-out and end up in a morgue.
Tyre's nowadays (decent branded ones) have exceptionally good build and design quality. I'd personally rather use a quality brand part-worn tyre in good nick than spend the same money on new LingLang Sport Pro's (or whatever).
