Also depends on what he's fitted, the £55 specials off Ebay don't last very long so your better splashing out on the Lemforder ones ;)

Although sadly I dont agree....
With what, the ebay ones don't last very long or its worth splashing out on the Lemforder ones?

I got 2 years out of a set of Lemforders....
Was that normal mileage or doing your commute ::)

14K miles (in 2 years).....not my commute car.....if it was the commute car it would have had an easier life.
Can you remember when we rebushed mine - I seem to recall it was the spring before that very wet Newent meet, so that would be a little over 2yrs?  Wasn't last year was it?

No, at least 2 years ago

Easy to fit, you dont need a 50,000 tonne press.  Just a 20,000 tonne press!  :P

If there are enough people interested it might be worth getting intouch with Powerflex for a job lot, I know the MX5 owners club used to get a good discount.

She certainly aims for screws and nails given the number of puncture repairs its needed recently

I am looking to do these in the next 6 months - want to do a complete refresh on the suspension and fittings..

Drill the rubber section then use a drift on the outer metal ring if that doesn't shift it use a hacksaw to put a cut in the ring then it should come out nice and easy ;)

Drill the bubber on the inner edge of the bush and then a hack saw blade through the metal section of the bush towards the wishbone (impostant as if you catch the wishbone metal with the blade it wont be weakened significantly in this area).

They just tap out then
