Hello. I have two Omega Elites. One a 2.2 DTI, Estate, 2003 mileage about 75k.

The other, recently purchased is a 2001 2.6V6 Auto saloon, leather with a genuine 21800 miles. Both are Star silver 3.

Is my 2.6 the lowest genuine miles 2.6 - or indeed any Omega now - in the country? Just curious. Best wishes.

Wow thats low miles. Thought mine was quite low at 50,000 miles. You'll soon have a contender for my parents 99 V Plate Vectra with 20,000 miles on the clock. They've had it from new and rarely use it.

There was one on eBay a while ago, that had supposedly 9000 miles I think may have been 6000 miles.

A mig was sold recently with 17k on it as well, but after some things I have been hearing I am now wondering if all these are 100% genuine.

I have a 2.5 GLS with 65K V plate 99 so thats averaged 6K a year.

I was at the desguace(scrapyard) the other day got a replacement intercooler with fan, from a facelift TD 2.5 year 2000, it had only covered 83000kilometers from new!! nothing wrong with it according to the yard owner just been dumped at the airport and left! star silver? LEATHER AIRCON CRUISE 17 INCH ALLOYS trouble is when they are in the scappys thats it no chance of buying them!!

i find if your looking on ebay or especially autotrader some people cock up the miles,if theres a ad with a proper nice low miles omeeega and no mention of its pedigree or history i would take it as being iffy.
i could find you plenty of 117 mile vectras when they are guaranteed to have done atleast 117,000 miles 

if were talking diesel omeegas i did a post regards this very subject a few months ago and the lowest miles diesel was a ex goverment (gordon brown/tony sherie blair) bomb proof saloon with 15k up it.
some other fella had a year newer than mine with 45k miles and mine had 49k miles all very nice for diesels.

i'm currently thinking about selling ours though

I have just put my car through its MOT. It has 114K on the clock. I read back through all of the MOT's and it did 90K in the first 3 years .
Since then it has averaged 3k per year. Two of those years it only did 200 miles

I have only had the car for one year and I am doing about 5500 miles per year. So I suppose if I keep it long enough it will become a low mileage motor, thats the plan anyway

Bloody hell - I was looking through my paperwork (yes, I'd lost my driving licence...), and found I'd done nearly 25k in my old MV6. I didn't dare work out the fuel cost for said 25k...

Bought mine 30th september with 39916 miles and its now got 40430. Registered 13th dec 2000 so a nice average of 4000 a year.

I worked with a bloke who finally gave up on his 2.5td cdx at 470k. was a '95 M reg that he had had from 4yrs old. Was well on its way to needing a second engine though. When he started it up you could hear it get going one pot at a time. :-/
My '55 reg vectra had 16k on it when i bought it in July. Now knocking on the door of 34k.
