Doubtful... I reckon we're in for another bout in the new year ;) Certainly here in East Anglia we normally get it around February time. We got off lightly this time around but I'm fully expecting to get hit hard in the New Year ;)

Hopefully by then my back will be better and I can go out and play in it ;D ;D ::) ::)

hi all can someone answer i quick question about these snow chains years ago i used snow chains on my transit and they tore my tyres to shreds even though they was fitted correctly and ive never used them since.

have they been improved over the years or is it still the same now ???

cheap models same..

newish rubber models better but cant resist on dry..

did someone said winter tires ? ;D ;D

I admire your persistence Cem ;D

My BMW will be needing new tyres in about 9 months. I will then buy winter tyres and in the spring of 2012 I will buy normal tyres. Hopefully I can swap them for the following 3/4 years  :y :y :) :)


For this winter I will stick with my Omega automatic, which works really well using the 'snow' button.
