LPG Gauge accuracy

I know they are poor, but....

Having to re-setup mine after a retard moment. 90k growing.

Trouble is, the voltage is varying between a value, lets say 1.8v when tank half full to 3.22v.  This is all the time when in motion, spening most time on 3.22v

Surely the ECU reset wouldn't have buggered it?

You'll probably find the ECU damps the signal quite heavily. Never looked at what mine does when in motion though.

There is some damping, but the leds are still bouncing between 2 and 4 on all the time :(

Ahh, something not right then.

Can you bundle Tunnie into the boot and ask him if the gauge on the tank does it too? ;D

Ahh, something not right then.

The gauge is stable - I can replicate it (to a lesser extent) when parked.

I could easily do without the gauge to be honest, I always go on the trip.....

Mine does not bother me at-all, its tucked well out of main 'standard' driving view.

If I had an Elite that I had to convert, I would seriously consider not fitting the gauge.

But I guess you have to, if you want to manually switch fuels  :(

Gauge is fairly useless tbh. But if it's by the tm button it's the perfect place IMO. Easy access from engine bay, and only a slightbtilt of the head to see it. It's too bright for direct vision at night, and too dim in day time anyway.

All it really does is confirm LPG is on IMO.



Never had any lights flickering though.  :-?

Mine does not bother me at-all, its tucked well out of main 'standard' driving view.

But I don't think the system would even work without it as it's also the control switch ;) ;)

Yeah, but you've rotated the tank a fraction since I set it up... Should have been about 60 miles on red, 70 ish on a run... That's what mine's at :y

Handy to know that it's consistently 60 miles after it comes on though :y
