Given up trying to sell car
« on: 17 March 2011, 08:20:30 »

I cannot believe how many Migs are out there for sale at the moment, its a buyers market, a couple of years ago you would have struggle to get one, Ive tried to sell mine on Fleabay not even one bid, must be down to fuel costs!

Will park her up in the garage, didn't wont to sell her any way, but then the miss's is another story  :(

As I know your married Chris, that comment sounds very naive.
They (at least) partly own everything. ::) :D ;D.
As for selling cars - I find you can try everything and spend a fortune advertising etc. and then you sell them when your not really trying - bloke down the pub or whatever.
I had this with my Merc, thought I was going to have to pay someone to take it away.
Then an eastern european bloke came to fit my kitchen, bought the car and took it to Moldovia at Christmas and sold it on for a profit.
Dont give up. ;)

That's why I'm NOT married....

.... It's not actually, but I find the concept irritating I must say. Sell my car? I don't bloody think so!

About the same response as I got yesterday when I suggested Mrs. KW had too many handbags and that I'd be happy to put some on freecycle for her. ;D

Yes exactly, "Darling, can you sell that big expensive bag taking up all the sideboard and get a cheaper smaller less expensive one so I can put my keys down" .....  and make the comment without knowing that she already has the best, most economical bag for the money worth having on the Market. Oh wait that last bits not right is it, very naive.  ;D

Good luck anyway

We were shocked recently when we put our 2004 53 plate bog standard silver Astra 1.6 8v up for sale.

Looked around at what they were going for, priced it somewhere in the middle and within 3 days it was gone, for only £50 less than advertised.

Thought that would have took weeks and weeks to sell, how more anonymous can you get than a silver Astra....?!!
