Got the car back today, and straight down to the council. Result, plated for another year with 6 days to spare.

Talk about cutting it fine, but can at least relax... engine permitting. :-/

Mondeo diesel autos good for 29mpg and not much else.

Just glad to be back in the mig, lumpy engine not withstanding, and it is now very shiny. 8-)
