Not saying it couldn't be beaten elsewhere (possibly) but seems very good all the same :y

Yep, not a bad tyre either IMHO. Have had a pair on mine for just over a year, another for 6 months. The year old ones (18k miles) are still a way off replacement, which is not too bad considering.

I hadn't looked at the time ;) ;)

It's possible a small independent may be able to better the quote, but probably not

To be fair, at 47 mph you're hardly going to be pushing the limits of them :-X ::) ;D

I (and a few other members) have had reasonable results with Accellera Alphas.

I fitted a pair to the front of the estate (binning a brand new "hero" tyre) as I have had 2 sets before and know what they're like :y Although they do seem to be more sensitive to geometry setup than other tyres I've had

I have khumo on the rover. They grip reasonably well enough, though don't give much feel. Omega may be different though

That was exactly my assessment when I first put them on the Omega. They have improved with a bit of wear, I think. (or I've got used to them)

That seems pretty decent, ive been looking for some myself as I need one done for the MOT and most places I have looked at so far around my area are a fair bit more.

Closest price ive found round me is Kwik-Rob at £89.30 each for a Marangoni, thats only if booked and paid online.

That beats Micheldever Tyres, who are generally very cheap IME, so yes, that is a very good price.

Curiously, Micheldever are dong the larger 235/45 R17 for less money.  I guess it is a more common size.

Many of the fast fit places, including KF, will match Micheldever's price (but not expertise) if you are obviously about to walk away if they don't.  Not that you need this as you have the best price anyway.
