Looks like changes may be being considered ... but the effects on many aspects would be considerable ...

Egress times ??

Cabin temperatures ??

Aerodynamic effects ??

Why didn't they fire a "metal spring" at it instead of a wheel?

What next, air con, drink holder,automatic gearchanges................

Thinking about it, dont they have some kind of cooling built injto their suits these days ? :-/

i dont really see the problem with canopes. the cars have changed loads anyway over the years. as long as they're still stupidly fast it dont matter imo
