Quick sat nav question
« on: 17 August 2011, 23:22:44 »

Just looking around, as you do.... :D  seen a couple of Migs described as having sat nav, but the lcd screen is only half the size of mine, is this normal? and, if so, where is the sat nav screen?

If you mean the screen to the left of the dash, it is only half size, rest is plain plastic......as on this car...

How old are these cars? If it's a prefacelift with sat nav, then the sat-nav screen is a tiny mono screen next to the radio. Re half size screen, it could have a CCRT700 radio/phone like mine, thet only have a slim screen for the radio.  :y

ignore me, I've just read your next bit.  :y :y

That's the half screen that comes pretty much as standard on facelift elites with the 2013 radio. The full screen CID was an option for the 2013. Half screen is pictogram only.  :y

As others said, the GID is half height, mono, and pictorial only. CID is full height, colour, and has a 2D, North-up map option, and intersection zoom.

Obviously, the displays are in the FAQ section ::)
