Selling
« on: 19 September 2011, 11:39:03 »

Just thought id post this here..........
When a user has somthing for sale and you take time asking them about the item why does no one bother to answer you..
Or....  if the item is sold then it would be nice if you were told its sold... then they must remove their post..  :y :y :y

people posting are not companies, often selling things in spare time. Work, other commitments, such as a wife having a baby in recent cases might cause a delay in response.  ;)

Why, what did you need and who did you ask?

Most of us amend the thread to show items are sold soon after they are sold. Its a pita to keep having to answer PM,s about something you no longer have. ;)
Personally I would love to see a detailed feedback sytem for buying/selling on the forum, bit it just isnt practical. :(

Conversely, a seller replies to a request and receives no response. :-X

Would be easier if there was no time limit on OP`s ability to delete thread in "For Sale" section only.  :y

i think the vast majority of people on here are sound at replying/providing updates. theres so much help ive had on here that it far outweighs the occasional person who dont reply. just my opinion :)

You will find, as I'm sure you know, that we will be removing the ability for any user to delete threads soon.  Also, modify time will be cut right down...

...too mant people are playing the system  >:(

:-? :question
Just thought it easier to delete a sale thread once sold therefore not clogging the section with "dead" posts

I must admit Im confused by that.Dont really understand how it can be played, or why you would need to prevent people deciding they have changed their minds about something they posted and would like to remove it. :-/
