If the old ones weren't noticibly holding back, doubt mpg will change much...

Nope. A few cosmetic jobs to do (when the weathers dry) and then it will be up for sale.Its a very nice car,but I have no use for an estate. ;)

Cleaned the sunroof switch in an attempt to banish the 'phantom' ..... will have to wait and see  :-X

Removed a leather interior from a car that was been broke.
Came home and installed leather interior in my car  :y

All i need to do now is get the heated seats wired up, get some rear electric windows so i can put the rear door cards on and jobs a good un.  :D

Drove to WIM for a Geometry check and 2 new tyres....    :)

Replaced both track rod ends , what a fek of a job  >:( >:( ...all bolts rusted solid and used a whole can of P fluid on them to get them to budge
 >:( >:( Both sides were shot and sloppy as hell , drop links were fine. Yet to do test drive , still catching my breath  ;D

Fitted  new plugs/cleaned all plug leads and generally had a good tidy up under the bonnet.

Mis fire now cured so awaiting the next dry day when I am not working and will get my new Lemforder track arms fitted and then get alignment done. Soon be time to change over wells aput the winter tyres and rims to store so will kill 2 birds with 1 brick me think !

I had a serious coolant loss today. Managed to grope the place where the fluid escaped the inside end of the throttle cooler pipe that was split lengthwise . Wipers and scuttle were taken off I was so lucky that the questioned pipe was enough long to cut off a short piece. Sorted!  :y
