The orgasmatron is a fictional electromechanical device that appears in the 1973 movie Sleeper, which also shows the effects of a related device, an orgasmic orb. Similar devices have appeared in other fictional works. The term has also been applied to a non-fictional device capable of triggering an orgasm-like sensation using electrodes implanted at the lower spine  ;D ;D ;D

I see, now I'm feeling all young again as I was minus 2 in 1973. When I read the word electrodes I expected the word testicles to follow shortly after!

Tested the volumetric capabilities of the silver speed barge yesterday by fitting four people and four motorbikes in it all at once  ;)

after much swearing and gnashing of teeth, I removed the camshaft sensor from 'Morticia', fell off the phone when Vauxhall told me it was £60 for a new one  :o and then went on the internet and ordered the correct one for my car (modified one), branded (not 3rd party) for £25+P&P   8)

Ah well, that means I'll be using the DeLorean as a daily drive until it arrives........ life's a bitch eh!! lol

will let you know when I get it.

If the car continues being a PITA though, I will move it on, as I cant be dealing with an  unreliable car that needs money spending on it all the time.

All cars need servicing and parts now and then. And having invested so far, starting again with an unknown and probably more expensive alternative doesn't appear to make much sense to me tbh. Although I'm not familiar with the issues so far, I'd suggest sticking with it, cam sensor is a common one, and asking advice here before doing anything often pays ;)

Yep, then we "broke them" in on the poorest road surface in Hampshire whilst temporarily unaware of our location, and meeting some local inbreds for whom driving on a particular side of the road is alien. I must learn to use a map and a laptop at the same time. ;D

I know Chris, its just gutting to be endlessly having to pay for something on the car, albeit routine stuff, rather then just drive it and not worry about something else going wrong.

I've spent out on it maintenance wise:  4 tyres, service, cambelt/waterpump/aux belt/cam gasket, LPG service and repair, cam sensor and alternator.  The exhaust is blowing, as its been rubbing on the rear axle somewhere and its worn a hole in it, so I need to fix that.  I've not even had a chance to fit the nice new interior parts that I bought for it months ago  :(

I'm sure it will be sorted in the end, I just want to be able to get on with making the car how I want it without having to spend out on the oily bits all the time   ;)

Sounds like you're pretty much there Claire ;) At the end of the day, it's not a new car and maintenance needs doing ;)

It should give you some time to just use it now (well, once the exhaust is sorted) :y
