Left it at home and cycled 15 miles to have a pint with my mates instead. Knackered. No moon tonight. I need a  brighter light on the bike. Nearly missed a couple of bends on the way home. ::)

Shall report back once I've driven it in anger, but first impressions are promising  :y

Replaced both front ball joints, only 3 rivets and 4 bolts, piece of pish.... not ;D still only managed to break 2drill bits, one centre punch and bend a reasonably sized drift >:(

Swapped the outer track rods and drop links whilst there :y  all ticketyboo except for being unable to set up the front end due to a seized adjuster, would appear to be welded to the os inner trackrod end ::)

Rear end now feels like it's actually attached to the car again, nice and taught 8)

I found it quite easy, although I did break the DRILL (not bit). Gutted.

My drill takes few prisoners, mains powered Bosch... didn't try it on the hammer setting :-\ might have helped shake the rivets loose, trusty Dremel saved the day :).

Next time I might just take the arms off and be done with it ::)

Mine was my trusty old, indestructable Wolf, that was a present from my old boss ::)

The chuck and most of the gearbox stayed on wishbone, motor and housing came off in my hand ::)

Today I had new tyres fitted to the front of the Omega, I then replace the rear shoes and cylinders and adjusted them up on my mates Puma, also treated it to a brake fluid change for him.

Sat on my arse drinking the red wine that went with an extended rustic lunch of local bread and cheese whilst looking at the mig against a fine seaside backdrop.

Must change the oil and filters sometime soon......
