Got a brand new radiator all in for £35 delivered for the 3.2 to sort out the leak that was supposed to have been sorted before I bought it. Just hope there wasn't loads of radweld poured in the cooling system >:( Then all I need to do is send off for the V5C as either DVLA have lost it or the seller couldn't be arsed to send it off even though I filled it in and even offered to post it myself >:(

No worries .. you've been a tad busy  :)

If it is still available, and Guffers meet takes place and we both get there ... would  seem to be a good time to change the thing !!! It certainly is not being done in the present weather, and my target is pre-July :)  The only time I get the problem I'm aiming to solve is towing up hills in high temperatures ... and the next planned occurrence of that is France at the end of July !!

Removed and repaired the bumper loom on big blue to sort a no external temp issue. Appalling doesn't start to describe the condition of it, problems started back when the irmscher bumper first fitted where they just snipped the foglight wires and just twisted them together with no insulation!  Various bits chopped out and very badly repaired on the temp sensor. No wonder the wires had snapped in a few places. God knows how it worked as well as it did.

All crap chopped out, soldered in new wire, properly insulated and protected from the elements and all working fine again.
