Yes, I did get off my arse and did the oil on TBE, need to double check the level though.

Changed its steering idler whilst there, though not convinced the Lemforder one has any less play than the 10yr old GM one. Suppose a drive will tell.

Got the Kwaka started, so to ensure all the condensation was blown out, and minimise all those nasty acids, I thought I'd take it for a trundle. Its actually colder out there than it looks ;D.  That said, within 6 or 7 miles of here, there are still 18" deep drifts at the side of the road...  ...and the melidioter crossing the road is enough to cause a minor butt clench.

Swapped the AR25 in my TD for the AR35 that has been gazing at me accusingly from the corner of the garage for the last 3 years. Many thanks to JamesV6CDX for doing all the donkey work. It was a pleasure to pass spanners to you James. Fitting the V5 chip next :y :y :y

Finally fitted steering wheel in correct straight ahead position :y only been 3years in wrong position :D still at least it's done now :y

yes mate-no let me explain---3yrs ago I got nice condition steering wheel(buttons worked) and fitted it in bit of rush(as you do) went down road and it was not centered :-[  Well sorted it out--dont worry mate its not my tracking-honest :y
should have explained better -sorry :-[ :-[ :-[

Worth double checking that the pitman arms are dead ahead when steering wheel is straight :)

rebushed the front suspension with polys and lemmforders  :)

Fitted a new aerial base gasket to replace the ugly silicone mess that I used when a pressure washer destroyed the original.
I'm not allowed excitement.

prepared the near final paint color today..  will see if minor corrections will be required.. this will be obvious after a few days of drying up under sun.. will have a final check on narrow angle colors..

She got another 12 months ticket with no advisories :y

Also noticed that they put the last 3 years mileage when mot'd on the certificate

Not sure i want to get involved with so much technical work on it seeing as its destined for another owner , it smokes on start up from overnight but ok after that . Any additive that can be used  :-\
