Changed the aux belt on Mrs VXL's DTi Estate.

I think it may have been a little overdue  ::)

Yesterday I finished fitting the tow bar to the DTi inc sorting the tow plug wiring route into the boot  8)

Collected my discs I had skimmed for the Estate which I'll refit on my next day off - Monday  :-\

Few more things in the pipeline, just need more time from somewhere to be able to do them!  ???

My son's 3 hour operation took place at a hospital in Wexham yesterday and he emerged at about 9.30pm (everything fine but groggy obviously)and we stayed until 11pm -whereupon his wife announces that the tyre light has come on  on her Mini Cooper S. By the light of the Phaeton torch the rim is damaged and flaky rubber but tyre pressure is ok but looks to be overhanging rim a bit. She has kerbed it - again!! Of course no spare on run flats.

So followed her back to their house - got her father out of bed at his house as he has spare wheel with tyre for that car and at 12.30am changed wheel on drive as she is working first thing.

Parental joy.
