It does seem to rev better since using it for Yorkshire. No way would it have redlined in any gear (even neutral was hard work), now it will almost redline in the first 3 gears, but definitely still holding back once the revs get up...

Rears are dead easy, just taken them off(which is easy to do), bang them in a vice and apply some heat.

They dont need to be anywhere near glowing, they will free up long before then.

Then remove the threaded rod sections (count the turns), clean with a wire brush, apply grease and refit....they wont ever sieze again then in my experience.

Now there's a question ... which grease ??

I have Copper, High Temp Grey Lithium [Castrol LM], High Temp Molybdenum Disulphite [Castrol MS3] and a very small amount of Silicon .....

I know Chris swears by "white grease".... but that covers a multitude of varieties... so which "white" greae ?? or one of those I already have?? :)

BTW  I HATE aerosol greases.. so tubs/tubes only as suggestions please :)

Tbh Ent i would use copper grease. however thats just my op.  :)

Today (actually yesterday) I fitted a brand new K&N filter then proceeded to permanently open the butterfly valves on the plenums :)

The result - a much smoother accelerating Omega and power there when needed not when the flaps open (haha) at 3500 RPM :)

Started the task of getting the MV6 back on the road, but first job was to take the old leaking fuel filter off and put on a new one, easy yes!!! No, as the connection that is on the outlet side of the filter has had it and the new filter will not click into place. Looks like it is going to be a new £60 centre fuel feed pipe :'( :-\

Suitable fuel hose and a couple or three jubilee clips should see that sorted Joff :y

That sums it up really...

There's an absolute goldmine of information here in The FAQ section and Maintenance Guides, yet people still insist that they know best...

If the you understood the way that the multirams operated, then you would have established that summat was amiss, but rather than investigating/fixing the problem you have disabled them.
Experimenting is one thing... Being totally retarded is another IMHO :-X

I was thinking would that do, but what kind of pressure comes out of the filter as the outlet pipe from the filter is smooth with no lip for the jubilee clip to hold on :-\

If the strap on the filter bracket is intact and the centre pipe supported it should be fine...

Thought the filter should ha a lip on both pipes for the clips to locate on :-\
