Pulled the protective covers off the Omega which had been put over it whilst I am restoring the BMW on the other side of the garage . First time I'd looked at it since last October and I realised how much I'd missed it , sunk into that incredibly comfortable seat and sat there for five minutes enjoying the surroundings again.

Didn't put it on the road this year due to the unfair level of taxation over here making it too expensive for the 2K miles a year I do in it. Was thinking of selling it ,but I won't . It'll be back on the road again soon.
Found the battery dead which surprised me as it's on a "exerciser " which keeps the battery charged and healthy . decided it must have been a poor connection on the charger so have it on trickle for the next couple of days and then I'll start it.
Started the painting of the lower half of the BMW after finishing the new rear wheel arches. That was the most time consuming and difficult part of the restoration so far , my fingertips were actually bleeding ........
