Got another sodding puncture >:(

£72 lighter and off the road until Wednesday  :'(

Nexen 6000s are shit. Sidewalls shouldn't disintegrate if kept at the correct pressure, but outer casing of inner sidewall has split. ???

Been run at too low a pressure maybe? Does it/did it have a slow leak?

I suspect it is actually related to whoever the garage used to refurbish the wheels when I bought it :-\

Not a good day...tried to find the knocking coming from the passenger rear. Checked the spring all good, checked the exhaust hangers all good. Not sure what else to check.  >:(
Thought I would change the screen pumps over big one no problem started on the small one and snapped the hose pipe connecter in the pipe so had to cut it off. Connected the small pump up filled the tank up and tried the new pumps still nothing coming out of the jets for the headlights.(yes I did have the headlights on) >:(

Packed up the tools and locked the car. Went in and had a cuppa.

Mine was knocking because the heat shield over the final silencer had rotted away around all bar one of the 10mm nuts that hold it in place. I managed to fit some oversize washers under some of the nuts to stop the rattle (only some because the nuts were well rusted and some of the studs sheared off  >:()

I think the chav is on N6000s.  They are shite unsuitable for me in every perceivable way bar one - she likes them as the bloody thing goes in a straight line with them on.

Been working on a new steering wheel to go in the Omega..

Carbon fibre effect on the panels and white LED's in the switches. :-)

Carl,
Will you get the remote controls to work, as those types of controls were only fitted to full CAN cars?

Took the dash out of the battlebus to fix the GID (can't get a CID to fit).  Whilst apart, fitted the Nokia BT kit I bought for it last summer ::). Originally wired the BT kit into the prewiring, only to find audio wasn't working (probably missing the isolation/matching transformer "relay"), so had to rewire it into the traffic master loom tail (as the TM obviously doesn't work any more).

Changed the pollen filter whilst there. Who designed those poxy clips, far to easy to lose when they ping off behind the dash.

Vac'd it ready for its little trip up north.

GID "fixed" last night, with copious amounts of chemical metal ;D

Today is refit the dash. If I get time, I might wash it, and the chav. But I need to fix my works laptop before tomorrow and build one of my brother's new servers.  So the Koso's might relieve me of £14 (they charge more for battlebuses)

Yes, Been working on an interface to use the button's like the standard 6 button's but also to use the extra button's (any button or combination of left and right button's could drive a relay).

Waiting for the PCB's to come from America first (oshpark.com), then will build an interface.

Only thing I've not checked yet is if the wheel will fit and if connections are there already (hoping so).

Dash refitted (but lost one strip of an airvent somewhere  :-\), washed both the battlebus and the chav, fixed works laptop ready for tomorrow, and got my brother's server hardware put together.

200,000 mile service, at least that was the plan........

Changed cam belt & tensioners, third time I have done it on this car so routine now  :)

Oil change went without a hitch but the oil was filthy & I can't remember when I last changed it  :-[ I certainly haven't changed it since baby was born 7 months ago  :-[ :-[

Autobox fluid change and handbrake adjustment will have to wait till next weekend.

Nothing. Moved my bike past it and Bernard's Duster that it's parked in front of, and went for a ride.
Came back and had more beer and cheese.
Then we had duck for dinner.
Life is good!

New rear vented discs and calipers arrived this morning ready for me to fit, but its ruddy pissing down so it can wait until tomorrow now...

Got MoT booked for Friday and need to do a bit of welding to a rear inner arch.... just hope the weather holds off long enough for me to sort it...

Still using water when it feels like it, I swear it can go for days without using water then suddenly it just dissapears... doing my friggin nut in with it now... not 100% sure if its one of the HG's or not now...
