Took it to the local ATS for an A/C regas, but the HP valve is kaput and it was pishing out!  :(

Happily I found the part number on here (biggriff does have his uses!  ::)  :y) and ordered a new one, so hopefully I'll be nice and cool when/if the weather warms up!  :y

Decided the my Omega needs an exhaust leak sorted out before it gets any worse..... coz its getting on me tits now...

Was ruddy radiator last week, now the exhaust is blowing from somewhere near the OS downpipes... hopefully not the SS system that got custom fitted for me last year, otherwise it'll be going back to get fixed by them... and I aint paying them to fix it either....

I was speaking to that DTM fella at the weekend, saying that I didn't think it would do many more.

He gave me that "it'll go on for as long as you want it to" look that he has perfected over the years. But I'm still unconvinced.

You can replace almost anything, so, if you're willing to spend the money, why not? Unless rust eats it, of course.

Had similar thoughts about the 2.2, knocking on the door of 190k. (Original clutch and head gasket still!) the day will come when I have to choose between 3.2 and 2.2  :-\  :(

To date 2.2 has always one  ::)

New handbrake shoes on the 190. I hate drum brakes. But it's done...

Volunteered the services of my car for the Brother in Law to drive to Spain and back in next week after some old duffer reversed into his (parked) car and smashed the front end ::)

Attempted to stop my rear chassis legs from disappearing completely by rubbing down with a wire brush and then daubing fertan rust killer on them. I still have to get the rear pads changed and probably the discs too.

Cheers
Neil.

Replaced back pads this morning in between torrential rain >:(

Inner pads down to about 3mm but outer still 6/8mm although disc looks fine on both sides.

Forgot what a PITA it is getting the old pads out at the back as the slot fill up with crud, but all done and bled for another 35k :y
