Removed the old exhaust and attempted to drill out what remained of the bolts that held the cats to the centre pipes... it goes without saying that I used half a dozen HSS bits and i still need to finish the nearside one when I buy half a dozen more.

Cobalt drill bits. Slowish drill speed. Not much pressure on the drill - these things are the key.  :y
Still a bitch of a job though, especially if you don't have much room to work under the car.

Drove to the vboa show, took in the weekend of fine motors and drove back today ;)

Fitted a new fuel pump to big blue.
Realised we had no fuel gauge

Soldered the wire I had trapped
