My previous Omega was LPG, but its unobtainable around here now. Dont know anywhere in a 10 mile radius where I could get it.
Five or so years ago I had a choice of at least half a dozen places. Sign of the times sadly.
Despite the facts, its considered an evil poisonous fossil fuel and is to be eradicated asap.
Since buying the petrol 3.2, the idea has been to have a cheap to run commute car, but that plan is going awry.
The 190d chip shop car was great until I got complacent and tipped some oil in the tank which had water in it, which knackered the pump.
It should have been worth fixing, but cosmetically it was atrocious, and I was getting bored of driving all over the place to collect the chip oil.
So then came Pierre. Great little thing for a year, and then developed a strong tendency to end its own life.
I suspect it will happen this year. It probably needs another turbo and I soon need to decide whether or not to bother.
