i heard there will be an MV8 edition with a Corvette V8 engine inside it, putting out around 300bhp, i think :-/
I wish it was RWD and i wonder if there will be a VXR edition :( ::) :y ;D

I repeat below what I placed under a different thread, but there is no mention of anything bigger than a V6 currently.

"I have just recieved a simple introductory  brochure on this car which gives brief details of, I quote:

"....three petrol engines - from 140PS to a 260PS V6, and two new 2.0 litre direct-injection diesels - 130PS and 160PS. All Euro 5 compliant and all with six-speed transmissions-manual and auto"

Personally I would love to have it with a big V8 engine, but is any of us going to be able to afford to fill it with petrol or pay the inflated road tax?! :'( :'(

Looks horrible. I preferred the cleaner look of past German cars. Now they all look like Bizarro Japanese nightmares. Accents and contours for no reason. German cars used to be Function over Form. Now it's all show. You used to be able to tell a BMW or MB from any angle. Now they may as well be Hyundais. Me, I'll take an older, uglier, mid-2K BMW. Even a 2005 Audi looks better to me than the latest crop from Munich and Stuttgart.

2009 Opel Insignia

2008 Mercedes Benz C-Class

2012 BMW 3-series

2009 Hyundai Genesis

2005 BMW 325i

2005 Audi A4 Quattro
