I spent about 6 hours on the car  :o

I used the Meguiars clay kit, pricey but works a treat.

The 6 hours were taken up by washing the car first and towling dry then the claying process which takes the time and then followed up with a polish and finally a wax coat. I also polished the glass and used good old Autoglym bumper care to shine up the plastic bits.

Shampoo = Meguiars Classic Gold £14 - £15
Clay kit = Meguiars detailing kit which comes with 2 bars of clay a drying towel and the lubricant £23ish
Polish = Meguiars Crystal Polish £9
Wax = Meguiars NXT(?) I don't remember the price. but did come with a applicator pad.

Where did you buy the kit from bud? If the results are like that then I need to buy me some clay.

Looks like I could be doing the same thing this weekend as well. Weather permitting of course. Good job there mate, you put us to shame with such a gleaming example.
