I think the Police would have something to say in the UK regards obstruction in the windcreen with all those gadgets.

Ahhhh clever comments, just what I was expecting....

well all the stuff is attached to the glass and I usually take the Gtech out and leave the GPS only on there for directions... also if you look down to the right side of the gauge cluster I have a suction cup holder there and I sometimes move my GPS there.

Also non of the stuff blocks the driver view of the road, they are just a bit higher then the stuff you need to see, it just seems that way because I was holding the camera up high enough so that I dont get a glare off their screens... perhaps I will take some better pictures...

Thanks

I don't know about over there in the States but here all that equipment in the car makes a very attractive target to thieves. :(

If they can even see sucker marks on the glass they think there is a good chance of the equipment being hidden and they break your glass to have a look! :o :o >:(

Actually - he's not  :-X

As long as nothing serious had happened as an obvious result, i'm not sure the Police would do anything other than words of advice re. the gadegets, to be honest...

Still the Police in the UK would have a field day with you, especially if you said what I highlighligheted.

Thier concern would turn to children and OAP's stepping off the pavement.

The attitude over here is the windscreen should stay un obstructed.  The rear nirror is a standard item, and they would not have an issue with a single PDA/traffic unit.  Other than that we have to be carefull.

Either way it is down to the individual police officer and his individual view on what he classes as safe. :y
