How are the Pi springs holding out for you?? I've heard alot of bad press about them (failure rates, etc)

Also do you have HID's??  How is the self levelling holding out if thats the case??

i was told dropping the mig that far will need spacers on the rear wheels to stop the wheel rubbing the inside of the wheel arch

I like it too.... now a few questions...

What is the brand of the springs?
I am looking for a set too... but not sure how much dropp will work well for me...

The INTRAX Kit that they have here is 40mm front 30mm rear.  200USD

The Votgland kit is 30mm all around...  270USD

And EIBACH Kit is 25 front and 20 rear... 330USD

First and third are Progressive Rates... the middle one is linear...

I am leaning towards the INTRAX kit but not sure yet how much of a drop and what it will look like compared to where the car sits now...

How is the rear... I have a +50 kit in  the back so my rear wheels are almost even with the fenders so... I asssume with this kind of a slam I will have to get rid of those...

using wheel spacers on that to me looks like it would rub the arch more than it would without them

Right they are 2nd hand PI's, no failure yet although theyve only been on for a day!  ;D
I know PI arent the greatest, but they came up at the right time for stage one of experiments. I know of the occasional failure, but only really seen on chav boxes with other questionable mods mainly...

Apparantly 40mm all round, although yes the back seems lower than that. there is some junk in the boot mind, but its ok so far.

No rubbing on the rears (or fronts) although will invest in spacers as the offsets look a bit gay at the moment, on the look out for some rims, Elite's would do for now, hard to fined nice rims in 5x110, looking into 5x112 at the mo  8-)

Not entirely sure how the HID's work tbh on the levelling. Mine seem real crap and short (and nothing has changed) so perhaps I am missing something?!  :)

The HID beam will need adjusting....although the lights are self leveling, if you lower the car the lights will not stretch as far in front becasue the beam angle is always slightly down.

Easily done with some tape and a garage door.

Ah, using the white plastic twizzly things on the back of the light units? (Sorry for getting so technical!  :D)

No....the hex things on the front top of the lights that drive the white twiddly things.

Dont turn the white bits or you will bust the lights!
