In response, most people in NA move to Euro spec because they want to be European. They seem to make them think it's exclusive. Join any NA forum and read for yourself.
Secondly, manufacturers are already looking into stopping the use of HID as its blinding on the road for other drivers. Cmon man, this is NA. Unless you live out in the sticks, your regular lighting system should work just fine with the use of streetlights, hence the reason why DOT approved them.  
And as for washer systems....LOL. man ..to make that mandatory?
