I just had my new 9 year old Berlina Black S2000 professionally valeted / polished / detailed or whatever the correct term is.
The man responsible is a friend's husband, Joe Chewter, and we took about 200 photos of the whole process from start to finish which, including the deep clean took about 20 hours.
Auto Valeting Services is the name of his company and he works for Morgan, BMW and TVR amongst other high end private collectors.
I must admit I thought the car was pretty clean when I bought it about a week ago, but, whilst I haven't posted them here, some of the before/during comparisons of the swirled and marled paintwork are absolutley phenomenal. There are still a few swirl marks which, given the car's age, is not surprising, but Joe reckons we can deal with them next time round in 6 months when it is due its next waxing session. He also says he wants to "flat off the orange peel" in some places. I'm sure many of you know what this means, but he lost me at this point.

Here's some of the (still in garage) shots we took last night. (It looks amazing today in the sunlight)
There is no lacquer on this car!
