My Omega
« on: 27 February 2010, 17:24:58 »

Well this is mine...

2003 Omega 2.2 dti CD Estate

Unfortunately I inherited it 3 weeks ago when my father passed away.

He bought the car NEW from Vauxhall with 6 miles on the clock.

But on the plus side it has only 40,000 miles on the clock, the body work / inside / alloys and engine bay are like the day it came out of the factory.

It has a full Dealer Service history and I believe the spare wheel and tyre has never been fitted.

All the tool kit and accessories are still wrapped up in original packaging.

Here are just 2 pictures, but once the weather is nicer I will give it a good wash and wax and detailing to make it look even better.

Oh and yes that is the sat nav craddle fitted as shown in one of the posts on here to under the shelf, BUT my father did that about 6 years ago ;-)
(He has velcro'ed on a small glass disk to allow the suction pad to stick)

Hope you like the car.

That looks a genuine unmodded & loved car & it seems your late Father entrusted you to keep her that way which i'm in no doubt you will.
     Sympathies with your loss, Guy.

The only things I wish to do to the OLD GIRL, is fit Cruise Control, Brighter Headlight Bulbs (Any suggestion welcome), Get the rear windows professionally Tinted.

Hope that doesn't offend anyone.

Why would it? It's your car :y

A new cruise stalk is about £30 from Vx.
I'm guessing it has projectors so have a look on eGay for some NightBreakers.
There's a guy I use in Halesowen for tints, does a top job :y
