several layers of polish later...
« on: 24 March 2010, 22:05:23 »

Well, the plan is to properly concentrate on the 10 years of drive-thru car wash swirl marks a panel at a time so we went around the car with a cutting compound to take out any minor blemishes then on the bonnet (phase 1 of the plan) there's 2 layers of meguiars cleaner wax, a layer of Autoglym deep shine, a layer of carnuba harley wax and another layer of cleaner wax!! the rest of the body is just a layer of cleaner wax and the results are loverly!

I'm certainly happy with the results, for a 10 year old car she looks immaculate  :y

Very nice! All we need now is the sun to shine and we can both appreciate our hard work ;D

Darker colours really need bright light to look their best, although the darker cars, when well polished, look really good at night IMO :)

Nah looks like a drainage run collapse, either that or it's a built in feature to create a moat effect when it rains ;D, excellent job on the car by the way :y
