My Omega transformation... With few pics!
« on: 15 April 2010, 14:35:07 »

I drove to Uk to purchase a complete Imrscher body kit (thanks to nova turbo for this!). Here is the evolution of my work! Click to enlarge!

The base: My Opel Omega Facelift 2003 2,5DTI 150bhp (remapped to 190bhp, 455Nm) Saloon, colour Z158, FULL options.

Beginning... Rub down the parts!

Apply mastic and rub down again!

Apply the yellow Filler in spray and sanding with 400 and water... Satisfactory results after 2 layer...

So, apply the final grey primer for a smoother result... and finally sanding with 800 and water (2 layer). The parts are now ready to be painted!

After 3 layer of paint, it's time now to mount all on my car! Starting with the front... And the result after a few time adjustment!

Continue with the rear... I had to remove my towbar otherwise the bumper did not pass... The results mounted on the car, after drilling holes for the parking sensors! And again, after a few time adjustement!!

Now the side sills... Removing the originals was be very simple... But it was VERY VERY difficult to mount the two Irmscher!

And the results...

Voilà! That's all for the moment. The rims, the silencer and the wing-type spoiler will be for the next week. I have other things (some badges, wipers, K&N filter, fuel flap cover,...)  that must be mounted on the same time...

Hope you like my job ^^

Thanks Mick!
I think this engine was never available for right hand drive... But it's a pure pleasure to drive it!

The problem is not really the money... It's to find all the parts!!! It's VERY VERY rare now...

PM sent for your query mate!
