The Omega's replacement
« on: 05 June 2010, 20:40:48 »

I finally sold my house in Spain and have been able to replace my Omega with a newer, more economical car. The Omega was a great car and will be missed, however it went to an OOF member who is very happy with the purchase.

Below is the 55 mpg replacement with a great panoramic roof and lots of toys :)

I sat in an Astra H with a panoramic screen in the local dealers.  :-? I didn't like it it all, all far too bright. I even close the screen on my sunroof cos it's too bright when open IMO  ;)  :y

You were a werewolf once, but you're alright nooooOOOOOOOOWWWWwwwwwwww!
 ;D ;D ;D

Regarding the Pug - not for me, but I have to say that their cars are getting better looking (although a long way to go to look as good as the late 90's 406 Coupe) and their latest offerings don't break as much as Renaults, apparently.

The 55 MPG figure is bloody attractive though! :y

been in Mercs with those screens, they squeek and rattle, and one i was in was only a few days old!  :o

Not sure on them myself, look great when they are clean, but once they are dirty could be a pain  :-/

I would have got a diesel Omega if you needed better economy or LPG'd the Omega.

Still looks tidy, good luck with it  :y
