Track car
« on: 06 December 2010, 14:29:58 »

I've been looking for a 3.0 manual saloon to make into a track car for a while now and managed to pick one up at a very reasonable price. I was lucky that the car is an MV6 so its stiffer/lower suspension will be better for the track but when funds allow i'll lower and stiffen it some more, I intend to strip everything out of the car to make it a light as possible and i'll put some 15" wheels and tyres to aid with the acceleration. I'll also be looking for some 3.2/2.6 exhaust manifolds, doing a little porting and chipping it. Once its finished i'll be taking it to Oulton Park which is just down the road from me and forum members are more than welcome to come and have a go but if you bend it you buy it ;D

:-? 15" 16" & 17" wheels all have the same rolling radius because as the rim size goes up the wall size ie the percentage ratio goes down.
