Quite a good turn out considering how many people form the area hang out on this forum.

We had two local guys and two from out of town...

Here are some of the pictures from the meet.
The weather decided to be crappy but regardless of that we still had a lot of fun!

Next meet will be in warmer weather, and possibly in the Michigan Area.

Ah, Chicago.  One of my favourite US cities.  I am there a lot visiting friends or passing through on my way somewhere.  Cars are looking good :y

It is without a doubt a very beautiful city, probably my favorite of them all...

The day before was sunny and 45F, and today was just a mess.... started off with a dusting of snow, which of course made the roads wet, and so the cars were just dirty from driving them to the meet.

2 of the cars drove some 160mi to get there.

I hope in the summer we can have a bigger meet, and of course the summer arsenal of parts will be up on the cars so we will be in good shape.

Its my favourite US city, not my favourite place in the US.  This missus is there right now actually prob in some hotel living it up  ;D ;D

I think you should fit a Vauxhall Grill to a catera, I don't think there will be many of them in the US

Vauxhall or Opels both are rare so that will work.

I think americans may know Opel a bit more due to the recent news around GM...



As far as my front lip goes, I took it off during teh winter to keep the nasty pitting from rocks, and to eliminate the chance of breaking it on some snow covered roads...

We get 6-12" of snow sometimes and the car is only 4" tall.
