Isnt me that minds the travelling its my whinging bloke  ::) I travel all over the country, but trying to get him to come see anything outside the north is unbelievable. I'm definitely interested in the car, but im not too hot on engine work so anywork would be done by a garage (blokes only a bodywork expert). Any ideas on the cost of the work if done by a garage?

Ref the sump  pan, and the vacc box - I could do those for you at no extra charge, if you were seriously interested. I'd have rather not, but if it's the difference between moving the car on or not - then I'll do it.

Regarding the steering idler - 1 hr labour at any reasonable garage, and a £30 part.  :y

Hi James, if you could do the 2 jobs on the car youve mentioned im sure i can talk about purchasing the car with you. Im ignoring the whinging bloke not wanting to travel, as i think the car looks stunning. And for the price i think its a great car. :D

Thanks for the comment mate - but, I'm someone of my word, and I'm not going to back out of a deal, now I've entered into one  :)

I agree - I could potentially hold out for a higher price.

But, at the end of the day, I have a buyer who has been enitrely up front, approachable, and who I know will look after and enjoy the car.

It's cost me nothing to advertise it, thanks to this forum, and have a quick sale, which is an added bonus.

I've listed honestly a few jobs that need doing - this was considered in the asking price.

I may not be making anything, but, she will go to a good home, and I am also not losing.

The deal will go ahead  :y
