2001 X reg saloon in star silver. I bought the car about 5 months ago as a non runner. I started off by replacing the fuel filter, bleed off pipes and injector seals but it still wouldn't run so I bit the bullet and replaced the injector pump and the car now starts everytime and runs well but does sound a bit tappity, could be because its stood so long and the hydraulic lifters. I have done a few minor jobs to get it through its MOT but I would say it still needs wishbones and 2 front tyres oh and I've changed the oil and filter and air filter. The car has covered 130k miles but I don't have any service history. The body work isnt going to win any beauty competitions, the bonnet has been resrayed at some time and is flat and there's rust on the bottom of the passenger side rear door and under the passenger side rear light which is a new one on me. The centre arm rest is broken and the catch is missing from the glove box and I had intended to valet the seats but haven't got around to it.

The car was listed on Ebay last week and I explained I needed the car gone asap as I now have 3 Omega's with one on the way and the wifes Rover, with only room for 3 cars (2 on the drive, one at my lock up and one on the road)The winning bidder sent me an email saying he was off on holiday and if he won he would pick it up in 2 weeks

So before I remove the injector pump and scrap the car does anyone want it but it must be gone asap. Thanks for looking

I've got wishbones and 4 tyres I could put on for an MOT, but it's so far away and how would I get it back with no MOT

Del, I'm going to be doing a fair bit of travelling around, if you did want it...and I can fit it in...I'll use my trade plates to cover the lack of RFL and bring it near to Ashford. I must admit, I didn't read it properly to see if it has a current RFL though, so may not be needed. I think the price of £500 seems very reasonable, especially considering the fact it's the 2.2 DTI variant.

I've now had 2 more emails via Ebay asking if the cars still for sale, why didn't they just bid on it
