Wanted - Navtec Sat Nav CD

Dunno what caused it but the CD has come out the CD unit for the built in sat nave on my Elite and has got scrated to bits and now reports no CD when pushed in CD unit.

Sat Nav uses the Navtec/q/k CD (not sure of proper spelling)

Car was fitted with the unit as standard in the Elite and is a 1999 (T)

Dont know what the newest version is that I can run but need areplacemtn.

This for CARiN, rather than the Siemens one?

Not sure what make it is Jamie, all I know is that is what was on the disk, not sure if I can tell what make the unit is.  :-/

If you have a prefacelift car with the sat-nav in the boot it's a CARiN  ;)

If its in boot, its CARiN, if its part of the stereo, its Siemens.

CARiN, best I can do is 1998 :o, Siemens, I have a 2004.

Navteq still sell both if you need up-to-date, though the CARiN ones were only made up to 2008/9 (and I let mine go when I sold the CARiN unit from the MV6)

try ebay.de ... it can take a while but they do appear on there. I got the 2010 UK for £35 .. :) Seems the germans buy the box sets then sell off the discs they don't need !!

Prefacelift 1999

Unit is a stand alone fitted under the parcel shelf just in front of the N/S rear wheel inner arch.
