Well for now anyway  :-?

As a lot of you will know I wrote off my last Elite in March, along with a Fiesta & made a mess of a van  ::) :-[ & got a SP30 in June  ::)

Just got my insurance renewal through & it's gone up considerably  :o but it's manageable just  ;)

Been searching the net all morning & can't get within £100 of my renewal, challenge Churchill my @rse!  :D

Many companies WONT put your insurance up due to sp30. My Wife has the remains of a ( more serious) IN10 and it doesnt affect her premium ( 6 points)

Have a look at insurance companies direct, rather than these hopless broker type websites. Try elephand / Admiral

Ive got Bob Dents old car, v6 estate fully comp with no ncb for £240 and the MV6 for £333 with them.

Yeah I've always found going direct is better, well until today. Used confused.com & got a call from Kwikfit within 10mins & when I went to the others direct the quotes were already there & the same as with confused.

None of them can get anywhere near my brokers though.

Better get some work done now  ::)

I was just reading this, thought i would give admiral a try, seen it on the tv for 2 car insurance.....

For my Omega 16v 2.0 (1994) am at the moment paying £116 fully comp, 4 years ncb (Swift Cover)
For my lass' Calibra 16v 2.0 (1992) am at the moment paying £268 fully comp 4 years ncb (bell Ins)

Admiral just quoted me £770, think i will keep what i got....   :y

Then i suppose someone has to pay for the tv ads, just not fair to put it onto my quote....   ;D ;D ;D

Guess its horses for courses, no one can get within £300 for me / Admiral yet there miles off for swmbo....
