Main dealers read from a script as supplied by VX. Then altered by the dealer. Then subaltered by the foreman... Then altered again by the 'head' mechanic which, as you have found, results in things like half the spark plugs replaced instead of them all, several services claiming fuel filter replacement when it wasn't and similar....
